Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on dishes and beverages.
- Accurately take food and drink orders using handheld POS systems, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to relay orders efficiently and monitor preparation times.
- Serve meals and beverages in a courteous and timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle payment transactions, issue receipts, and manage cash drawer balances at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing silverware, and restocking service stations.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, conducting regular sanitation checks of workstations.
- Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices for service excellence.
- Address guest concerns or complaints professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss menu updates, promotional events, and performance goals.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 22–25 years (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage service; prior experience in a busy restaurant is a strong plus.
- Strong work ethic: hard‑working, agile, and able to handle a fast‑paced environment.
- Personal attributes: honesty, discipline, responsibility, and a neat, clean appearance.
- Residency: Must reside in Banda Aceh or Aceh Besar.
- Essential skills: excellent communication, active listening, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and drinks.
