Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor Bar and Beverage Services to lead our high‑energy bar operation in a vibrant speakeasy‑style outlet or night‑club environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, health & safety regulations, and local licensing laws.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of bartenders, barbacks, and service staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and innovate cocktail and beverage menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients, market trends, and guest preferences.
- Manage inventory control, order supplies, and conduct regular stock takes to minimize waste and control costs.
- Maintain high‑quality service standards, handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and poise.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, preparing reports for senior management and recommending strategies to boost revenue.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and presentation of wines, spirits, and specialty drinks, leveraging in‑depth product knowledge.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and events teams to coordinate beverage pairings for private functions and themed nights.
- Enforce responsible service of alcohol policies, conducting age verification and managing intoxicated guests safely.
- Schedule staff shifts, manage payroll inputs, and maintain accurate attendance records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years experience as a bar leader in a speakeasy outlet, night club, or comparable high‑volume venue.
- At least 1–2 years dedicated mixology experience with a proven track record of creating original cocktails.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written, coupled with excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with a confident and authoritative presence that inspires staff.
- Experience in menu development and a keen eye for emerging beverage trends.
- Extensive knowledge of wine varieties, tasting notes, and service techniques.
- High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; hospitality‑related certifications are a plus.
