Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Promoter – Speaker to join our dynamic retail team in Medan. This role focuses on showcasing and driving sales of high‑quality speaker systems, primarily from the AUVI and broader electronics portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine a passion for audio technology with strong interpersonal skills, ensuring customers receive an engaging, informative, and memorable shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct live product demonstrations of speaker units, highlighting key features, sound quality, and connectivity options.
- Engage customers in the store and on promotional events, answering questions and providing tailored recommendations based on their needs.
- Maintain attractive merchandising standards, including product placement, signage, and inventory organization.
- Track daily sales performance against targets and report results to the store manager.
- Gather and relay customer feedback, competitor pricing, and market trends to help shape future promotional strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to set up in‑store displays, special offers, and seasonal campaigns.
- Assist in inventory checks, stock replenishment, and ensure that demo units are functional and well‑maintained.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest audio technologies and sales techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in retail, preferably within the AUVI, audio, or consumer electronics sector.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers.
- Professional appearance—well‑groomed and presentable at all times.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical mindset for competitor analysis and market insights.
- Open to working flexible hours, Monday through Sunday, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
