Introduction
The Remedial Officer position is based at our Head Office and focuses on strengthening the credit portfolio within the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) region. This role is critical for reducing non‑performing loan (NPL) exposure, safeguarding potential write‑off opportunities, and driving effective collection strategies. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with excellent negotiation skills to recover delinquent accounts while supporting the broader financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Reduce overdue balances in the NPL bucket (90+ days) through targeted collection actions and proactive client engagement.
- Maintain a steady flow of Potential Write‑Off (POWO) leads by monitoring account performance and identifying early warning signs.
- Execute full‑cycle recovery for accounts designated for Write‑Off, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts across the Jabodetabek area, conducting field visits and on‑site negotiations as needed.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to assess the viability of legal actions and to prepare necessary documentation for court filings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external networks such as Profcoll, collection agencies, and industry partners to enhance recovery efficiency.
- Prepare regular performance reports, including metrics on overdue reduction, recovery rates, and write‑off forecasts.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior collection staff, fostering a team‑oriented, target‑driven environment.
- Continuously analyze collection data to identify trends, propose process improvements, and support strategic decision‑making.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; legal knowledge is highly preferred.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in credit collection or a related financial recovery role.
- Male candidates, age not exceeding 35 years.
- Active motor vehicle and valid SIM A & C licenses for field operations.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and close challenging cases.
- Extensive external network within the collection industry (e.g., Profcoll, agencies).
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a high‑performing team.
- Target‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding collection goals.
- Analytical mindset to assess account risk, prioritize actions, and interpret financial data.
