Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Teller to join our Serang Branch team. This role is a pivotal front‑line position, responsible for delivering seamless banking services while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in financial transactions, strong communication abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers achieve their banking goals.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a friendly attitude, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the branch.
- Process cash deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and other routine transactions in strict accordance with the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Verify customer identification and documentation to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and check handling with precision, balancing the teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Promote bank products and services, such as savings accounts, loan applications, and digital banking tools, based on customer needs.
- Resolve basic customer inquiries, escalating more complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workstation, ensuring that all confidential information is protected.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the branch to achieve daily targets and uphold overall service quality.
- Participate in continuous training sessions to stay updated on new banking regulations, technology platforms, and product offerings.
- Adhere to the branch’s operating hours, working efficiently from 08:45 to 20:00, Monday through Saturday.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Must be 29 years old or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1.5–2 years in banking, financial services, retail, or customer‑service environments.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic accounting principles, cash handling, and banking software.
- Core Competencies:
- Excellent verbal communication and public‑speaking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Professional appearance: neat, clean, courteous, and pleasant.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Fast‑paced work style while maintaining accuracy.
- Additional Skills: Proficiency in Indonesian language, basic computer literacy, and a customer‑centric mindset.
