Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, process cash, credit, and digital payments, and issue receipts.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product questions and guiding purchase decisions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular stocking of bags, receipts, and promotional materials.
- Assist with inventory control by reporting low‑stock items and participating in periodic stock‑taking.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints in accordance with company policy, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
- Work a rotating weekly shift schedule, including weekends, to guarantee continuous coverage of the sales floor.
- Collaborate with sales associates and floor managers to execute promotional campaigns and visual merchandising standards.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including fraud detection and loss‑prevention measures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates preferred; non‑hijab staff are specifically sought for this role.
- Age: up to 30 years (flexible based on experience and suitability).
- Prior experience in cashier or customer‑service roles is a plus, though fresh graduates are welcome.
- Strong numerical ability and familiarity with basic cashier systems.
