Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Shift Lead for SPX Express at our Pante Bidari 2 facility in Kab. Aceh Timur. This pivotal role ensures the smooth flow of goods from receipt to delivery, overseeing a team of couriers and warehouse staff while maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on logistics experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for courier pickups, ensuring optimal routing and timely collection of parcels.
- Supervise the end‑to‑end shipping and receiving processes, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to company SOPs.
- Define and allocate delivery zones, balancing workload across the team and optimizing travel distances.
- Monitor inbound and outbound inventory movements, coordinating closely with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers and on‑site couriers.
- Oversee sorting operations, implementing best practices for package handling, labeling, and segregation.
- Conduct regular shift briefings to communicate priorities, safety protocols, and performance metrics.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery rates, error margins, and staff productivity, and report findings to senior management.
- Resolve operational issues promptly, acting as the primary point of contact for escalations related to shipment delays or inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards throughout all logistics activities.
- Foster a collaborative team culture by providing coaching, feedback, and recognition to shift staff.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 1‑2 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline.
- Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and schedule management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including conflict resolution and performance coaching.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, to meet operational demands.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Pante Bidari (Beudari), Kab. Aceh Timur, Aceh.
