Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader Sales Promoter to join our fast‑growing sales force in the Karawang area. This role is the linchpin between our merchant partners, the field sales team, and corporate operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high‑energy environment, possess strong leadership abilities, and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within the financial services or retail sectors.

The position is based in Karawang, with a work schedule of Monday – Saturday, 11:00 – 20:00, and includes occasional shift work to support promotional events and peak sales periods.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed area‑specific sales targets for financial products such as insurance, unit trusts, and related services.
  • Conduct daily visits to merchants, building and maintaining strong relationships with the store’s Person‑In‑Charge (PIC) to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities.
  • Oversee the placement and visual compliance of POP (point‑of‑purchase) materials, ensuring brand guidelines are consistently applied.
  • Coordinate with partner operational teams to gather market intelligence, monitor competitor actions, and resolve field‑level issues promptly.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of 15‑20 Sales Promoters, monitoring their daily activities, performance metrics, and attendance.
  • Design and deliver regular training sessions and refresher workshops to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, analyzing data to identify trends, forecast demand, and propose corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop social‑media campaigns and community outreach that drive foot traffic and brand awareness.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements throughout all field operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a diploma or higher is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably within financial services (insurance, unit trust) or retail promotion.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team and motivate individuals to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; adept at building rapport with merchants, internal stakeholders, and customers.
  • Strong analytical mindset—proficiency in sales analysis, data interpretation, and using MS Excel for reporting.
  • Familiarity with social‑media marketing tools and the ability to integrate digital tactics into field campaigns.
  • Flexibility to work shifting schedules and occasional weekends as required by promotional calendars.
