Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Staff Frontliner to join our vibrant team in Semarang. This full‑time, customer‑facing position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service within the fast‑moving food and beverage (F&B) environment. As the first point of contact, the Frontliner ensures that every guest experiences a warm welcome, seamless ordering, and a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a positive first impression.
- Take orders accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions while adhering to company security procedures.
- Answer guest inquiries about menu items, promotions, and dietary options.
- Maintain a clean and organized front‑of‑house area, including seating, condiment stations, and entryways.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining spaces for special events or large parties.
- Monitor and restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, and promotional materials.
- Resolve minor customer complaints on the spot and escalate complex issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards to protect both guests and staff.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on menu changes, new payment technologies, and service protocols.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old (maximum age limit as per company policy).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Prior experience in the F&B sector is preferred but not mandatory; fresh graduates with strong motivation are welcome.
- Physical & Mental Fitness: Ability to work full‑time, stand for extended periods, and maintain a positive, energetic attitude.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and keep the front‑of‑house area orderly.
