Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pengawas Proyek Konstruksi Besar dan Pengendalian Mutu to join our dynamic construction team. This pivotal role involves overseeing large‑scale construction and interior projects, ensuring that every phase meets our rigorous quality, safety, and timeline standards. The successful candidate will act as the on‑site guardian of project integrity, liaising between clients, vendors, and internal teams while producing comprehensive progress reports.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on large‑scale projects, ensuring compliance with design drawings, material specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and lead field teams, providing clear instructions, monitoring performance, and addressing any issues that may affect schedule or quality.
- Interpret and verify technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to guarantee accurate execution.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and milestone progress reports, highlighting achievements, potential risks, and corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, documenting findings and implementing remedial measures as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication among clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve conflicts promptly.
- Monitor project budgets and resource utilization, ensuring that work is performed within approved cost parameters.
- Enforce workplace safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure that all personnel use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
- Assist in the preparation of project handover documents and support post‑completion audits.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands‑on supervision experience in large construction or interior projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in interpreting construction drawings, material specifications, and safety standards; strong grasp of project execution techniques.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage on‑site teams, delegate tasks, and maintain morale under tight deadlines.
- Reporting: Skilled in preparing daily, weekly, and progress reports using standard industry templates or software.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for coordination with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates should be fit for field work.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and quality management frameworks is a plus.
