Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Store Staff for our Semarang branch outlet. This front‑line position is critical to delivering an exceptional shopping experience, driving sales, and representing our brand with professionalism. The successful candidate will work closely with the store manager and fellow team members to ensure that every customer leaves satisfied and that daily operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide knowledgeable product recommendations.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets by actively promoting featured items, upselling accessories, and managing promotional campaigns.
  • Handle point‑of‑sale transactions accurately, process payments, issue receipts, and manage cash drawer balancing at the start and end of each shift.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards: arrange displays, restock shelves, and ensure that pricing tags are up‑to‑date.
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform stock counts, and communicate replenishment needs to the store manager.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues when necessary while preserving brand reputation.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including security checks, cleaning, and equipment shutdown.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, sales techniques, and health‑safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment and achieve collective goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail, hospitality, or any customer‑service oriented role.
  • Open to all genders; candidates of any age are welcome.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Professional appearance with a genuine service mindset.
  • Preferred residency in Semarang or surrounding areas for easy commute.
  • Proven ability to handle cash and operate POS systems confidently.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Flexibility to work the scheduled shift of 08:00 – 17:00, with potential weekend or holiday coverage as needed.
