This role is a cornerstone of our field sales and credit‑assessment teams, focusing on expanding our network of micro‑enterprise borrowers and providing hands‑on financial support to underserved households.
The successful candidate will act as the face of Amartha in the community, identifying promising new clients, conducting rigorous loan feasibility studies, and fostering lasting relationships with existing members. Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers in the Andong‑Boyolali area, promoting Amartha’s micro‑credit programs and encouraging enrollment.
- Conduct field sales activities and follow‑up collections, ensuring timely repayment while maintaining a respectful and supportive approach.
- Provide economic counseling and financial literacy training to household members, helping them manage cash flow, budgeting, and business planning.
- Assess loan applications through on‑site surveys, data gathering, and analysis of creditworthiness in line with Amartha’s underwriting policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed feasibility reports and present recommendations to the internal financing committee for final approval.
- Accompany weekly member meetings, track transaction histories, and monitor loan performance to identify early warning signs of delinquency.
- Collaborate with internal teams—product, risk, and operations—to continuously improve field processes and client experience.
- Maintain accurate records in Amartha’s digital CRM system, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting to supervisors.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any gender and age; no upper age limit.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with rural entrepreneurs.
- Basic digital literacy and analytical skills to evaluate loan applications and market potential.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in remote locations.
- Willingness to travel within the Andong‑Boyolali area and attend community events as needed.
- Previous experience in sales, field collection, or micro‑finance is a plus but not required.
