Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on fiber‑optic infrastructure, including splicing, testing, and documentation.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Wi‑Fi modems, routers, and cable TV equipment at customer sites.
- Monitor network performance using specialized tools, identify anomalies, and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Implement upgrades and improvements to hub systems, ensuring scalability and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide on‑site technical support, collaborating with project managers and client representatives to meet service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and inventory of network components.
- Drive continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and participating in knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on high‑voltage fiber lines and during field deployments.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK TKJ with a grade of 80 % or higher, or D3/S1 in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a GPA of at least 3.00.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Wi‑Fi network installation and maintenance; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of fiber‑optic technology, including splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, VLANs, and wireless security protocols.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM A) and the ability to operate a company vehicle for field assignments.
- Willingness to work six days a week, including weekends, and to travel to various sites within the Garut area.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
