Introduction

This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company’s operations remain fully compliant with the evolving regulatory landscape, while also supporting strategic business initiatives through sound legal counsel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in corporate, civil, and labor law, coupled with a proactive attitude toward regulatory filing and policy development.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing company policies and draft new regulations to ensure alignment with current Indonesian laws, including the Company Law, Civil Code, and Manpower Law.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior management on compliance matters.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, memoranda of understanding, and other legal documents to safeguard the organization’s interests.
- Manage the end‑to‑end process of obtaining and renewing business licences through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
- Coordinate with external counsel, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to resolve legal disputes and mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for employees on legal awareness, corporate governance, and regulatory updates.
- Maintain a meticulous filing system for all legal documents, ensuring easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- Assist in the preparation of internal compliance reports and support the annual legal audit process.
- Provide day‑to‑day legal support to various business units, including HR, finance, and operations, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Continuously monitor legislative changes and propose strategic adjustments to company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law from a recognized university.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in corporate, civil, or labor law, preferably within a corporate legal department or reputable law firm.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and formulate company policies in accordance with applicable statutes.
- Hands‑on experience with the OSS (Online Single Submission) platform for business licensing.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in document preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
