Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, countertops, and equipment, following strict hygiene protocols.
- Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, glassware, cutlery, and cooking utensils promptly after each service.
- Organize and arrange kitchen tools, pots, pans, and storage containers to ensure optimal workflow for chefs.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, portioning ingredients, and restocking stations during peak periods.
- Conduct routine inspections of kitchen equipment, report any malfunctions, and perform minor maintenance to extend asset life.
- Support the team during high‑volume service times, helping with order plating, delivering items to service counters, and clearing tables when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restroom facilities, ensuring supplies are replenished and standards are met.
- Participate in daily inventory counts of cleaning supplies and kitchen disposables, notifying supervisors of low stock.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper waste disposal and segregation of recyclable materials.
- Contribute to a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with chefs, servers, and management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 35 years.
- Prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector is a strong advantage, though fresh graduates with the right attitude are welcome.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy pots, and performing repetitive motions.
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program; full‑time availability is required.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to upholding cleanliness standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic understanding of sanitation and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP, local health codes).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including morning, mid‑day, and evening rotations, with one day off per week (excluding Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
