This is a full‑time position with immediate start, ideal for recent graduates or anyone with a strong desire to master smartphone repair. Candidates must reside in or near Malang to ensure quick response times for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on a wide range of Android and iOS devices.
- Disassemble and reassemble smartphones with precision, handling delicate components such as LCD panels, charging ports, speakers, microphones, cameras, and flex cables.
- Perform component replacement, including LCD/LED screens, batteries, flex connectors, and internal circuitry.
- Run functional tests after repair to verify that the device meets factory specifications.
- Document each repair step in our ticketing system, noting parts used, labor time, and customer communication.
- Provide clear, courteous explanations to customers about the cause of the malfunction and recommended solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workbench, adhering to ESD (electrostatic discharge) safety standards.
- Participate in on‑the‑job training sessions and continuous learning programs to stay current with emerging smartphone technologies.
- Assist senior technicians with complex board‑level troubleshooting when required.
- Support inventory management by tracking spare parts and notifying the procurement team of low stock levels.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent. Candidates with proven repair skills may be considered even without formal certification.
- Age: 25 years old or younger, with a preference for candidates who can commit long‑term.
- Gender: Male (aligned with current team composition and operational needs).
- Experience: 0+ years – fresh graduates are welcome provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
- Technical aptitude: Basic understanding of electronics, ability to use soldering irons, multimeters, and diagnostic software.
- Soft skills: Discipline, honesty, responsibility, critical thinking, systematic problem‑solving, effective communication, and the ability to manage time efficiently.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working with evolving mobile technologies and able to quickly learn new repair techniques.
- Location: Reside in Malang or nearby districts; proximity to the workshop is highly preferred.
