Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Teknisi Jaringan Wi‑Fi to join our expanding field team covering the Lamongan, Tuban, and Bojonegoro regions in East Java. The role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and optimization of fiber‑optic (FO) and wireless access point infrastructure for a fast‑growing telecommunications provider. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with a standard work week of Monday through Saturday, 08:30 – 18:00.
Responsibilities
- Pull and route fiber‑optic cables according to engineering schematics, ensuring proper bend radius and strain‑relief.
- Install, configure, and dismantle Wi‑Fi Access Points (APs) in diverse environments, including high‑rise buildings, factories, and outdoor sites.
- Perform fiber splicing (both mechanical and fusion) to create reliable, low‑loss connections.
- Terminate fiber connectors, test link integrity with OTDR and power meter tools, and document results.
- Organize and label all cabling to meet industry standards for future maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Conduct site surveys to identify optimal AP placement, assess signal coverage, and recommend adjustments.
- Collaborate with network engineers to verify that the installed infrastructure meets design performance criteria.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company safety policies and local regulations.
- Provide on‑site technical support during peak hours, responding promptly to service tickets and emergency outages.
- Prepare detailed daily reports on installation progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a technical major such as TKJ or TJAT.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with fiber‑optic installation and Wi‑Fi equipment.
- Strong physical condition; able to work at heights and carry equipment up to 25 kg.
- Active BPJS Kesehatan/KIS membership (mandatory).
- Excellent field coordination and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic understanding of network concepts (LAN/WLAN, IP addressing, signal propagation).
- Willingness to be deployed across all company sites, with accommodation provided in a mess facility.
- Commitment to a minimum initial placement period in Lamongan, Tuban, or Bojonegoro.
