Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for a comprehensive range of cleaning and maintenance duties that ensure the workplace remains safe, sanitary, and welcoming for staff and guests alike. Core responsibilities include:
- Performing daily cleaning of kitchen floors, countertops, equipment, and dining areas using appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
- Managing waste segregation, collection, and disposal in compliance with local environmental regulations.
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, restocking when necessary, and reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
- Conducting routine inspections of ventilation systems, fire extinguishers, and safety signage to guarantee operational safety.
- Documenting cleaning schedules, incidents, and completed tasks in the designated logbook or digital system.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate flexible work hours, especially during peak service periods.
- Participating in periodic deep‑cleaning projects, such as floor polishing, wall washing, and pest control support.
- Providing feedback on process improvements that enhance overall hygiene standards and operational efficiency.
Requirements

- Good communication skills for reporting and teamwork.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move cleaning equipment for extended periods.
