Introduction

We are a bustling community pharmacy dedicated to providing accessible, high‑quality pharmaceutical care to residents of our neighbourhood. To strengthen our frontline team, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Pharmacist (Asisten Apoteker) who is passionate about patient safety, medication counseling, and supporting the daily operations of a modern pharmacy. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a mix of customer interaction, technical tasks, and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the licensed pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and label medication orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and the pharmacy’s Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain and update the SIPTTK (Sistem Informasi Praktik Tenaga Teknis) records, including inventory logs and staff certifications.
  • Provide clear, empathetic counseling to patients on dosage, administration, possible side effects, and storage of both prescription and over‑the‑counter products.
  • Handle cash transactions, process insurance claims, and manage point‑of‑sale systems while adhering to confidentiality policies.
  • Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, performing stock checks, rotating stock according to expiry dates, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Participate in regular quality‑assurance audits, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to resolve medication‑related queries and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Work on a rotating shift schedule, covering evening hours from 14:30 to 22:00, seven days a week, to guarantee uninterrupted service for the community.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3 (Diploma) or D4/S1 (Bachelor) in Pharmacy.
  • Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) license for pharmacists.
  • Female candidates only, in accordance with the current staffing policy of the pharmacy.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with a strong academic record are also welcome.
  • Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
  • Willingness to manage SIPTTK documentation and maintain up‑to‑date records.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, both spoken and written, with a focus on patient education.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Submission of an academic transcript attached to the cover letter is required.
