We are currently seeking a diligent Operator Finishing Produk Manufaktur to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in sewing and finishing techniques who are eager to contribute to a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines, overlock (obras) machines, and press equipment to execute finishing processes such as stitching, overlocking, laminating, cutting, and folding.
- Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and customer requirements to ensure each garment meets quality standards before shipment.
- Perform regular inspections of finished pieces, checking seam integrity, press quality, and overall appearance to guarantee they are “ready to ship.”
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, conducting routine cleaning of machines and work areas before and after each shift.
- Collaborate closely with pattern makers, quality control inspectors, and fellow operators to resolve production issues quickly.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of equipment and reporting any malfunctions to maintenance staff.
- Participate in night‑shift rotations (16:00 – 00:00) and be available to work on public holidays when production demand requires.
- Document production output, machine settings, and any deviations from standard operating procedures for continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, as stipulated by current operational policies.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in fashion design or garment technology is preferred.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a garment‑confection or finishing environment; experience in a high‑volume factory is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in operating sewing, overlock, and press machines; must not be color‑blind to ensure accurate quality assessment.
- Demonstrated honesty, meticulousness, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond promptly to supervisors and teammates.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules.
- Residency in West Sumatra (Sumatera Barat) or willingness to relocate.
- Willingness to provide a recent BI‑checking (background) report upon hiring.
