Edulab Sidoarjo, a leading private tutoring and test‑preparation center in East Java, is seeking enthusiastic and qualified instructors to join our team as Pengajar IPA, IPS, dan Persiapan UTBK. This full‑time position offers the chance to shape the academic futures of high‑school students preparing for university entrance exams (UTBK) while fostering a love of science, social studies, and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in Natural Sciences (IPA), Social Sciences (IPS), and UTBK preparation to groups of 10‑25 students.
- Design and implement interactive teaching materials, including worksheets, multimedia presentations, and practice tests.
- Provide one‑on‑one mentorship (perwalian) and academic counseling, helping students set realistic study goals and track progress.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and consultation notes in Edulab’s learning management system.
- Participate actively in mandatory Edulab trainings, coaching sessions, and periodic faculty meetings to ensure consistent teaching standards.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to develop interdisciplinary projects that reinforce UTBK concepts across subjects.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, offering timely feedback and remedial support when needed.
- Uphold Edulab’s code of conduct, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a student‑centered mindset.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Mathematics, Physics, Social Sciences, or a related field. Final‑year university students are also encouraged to apply.
- Age: Up to 29 years old.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Experience: At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience; prior UTBK coaching is a strong advantage.
- Core Skills:
- Interactive teaching techniques and lesson‑planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to conduct academic counseling and provide constructive feedback.
- Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and basic office software.
- Personal Qualities: Passion for education, strong commitment, high integrity, and a collaborative spirit.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 16:00 – 19:30.
