Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers to guarantee 99.9% uptime.
- Perform regular system backups, restorations, and disaster‑recovery tests to protect critical data.
- Implement security patches, updates, and firewall rules to safeguard the network against threats.
- Provide Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 support for end‑users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
- Document all configurations, incidents, and standard operating procedures for future reference.
- Collaborate with the network team to optimize bandwidth usage and resolve latency problems.
- Assist in the planning and deployment of new hardware, virtualization projects, and cloud‑based services.
- Participate in on‑call rotation, handling after‑hours incidents and ensuring rapid response during emergencies.
- Maintain an organized and clean server room, adhering to safety and compliance standards.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements, automation scripts, and cost‑effective solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 preferred for specialized positions.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, server administration, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V), and basic networking concepts.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, responsibility, and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday) and occasional overtime under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and a customer‑service mindset.
- Basic proficiency in English is advantageous for reading technical documentation.
