Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging chemistry lessons aligned with the national curriculum and university standards.
- Prepare customized lesson plans, laboratory experiments, and multimedia resources that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Conduct one‑on‑one and small‑group tutoring sessions for students preparing for UTBK, SKD CPNS, and other competitive examinations.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and practical labs, providing detailed feedback and actionable improvement strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and achievement metrics using our learning management system.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and curriculum developers to continuously refine instructional materials and teaching methodologies.
- Participate in regular faculty meetings, training workshops, and professional development courses to stay current with scientific advancements and pedagogical best practices.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, address concerns, and recommend supplemental resources.
- Uphold the institute’s standards of discipline, punctuality, and ethical conduct at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related pure science field; a Master’s degree (S2) is a plus.
- Academic excellence with a GPA of at least 3.00.
- Demonstrated ability to teach high‑school subjects (TKA) and, for Indonesian language specialists, experience with UTBK and SKD CPNS preparation.
- Strong commitment, discipline, and a passion for nurturing student growth.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably English.
- Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students of varying academic backgrounds.
- Willingness to engage in continuous skill upgrades, including attending workshops and obtaining relevant certifications.
- Open to working Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
