We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our crew as a Kitchen Operations Associate. As part of the Tim Dapur family, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every meal is prepared to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, while also supporting inventory management and daily reporting functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth day‑to‑day kitchen operations, coordinating with front‑of‑house staff to meet service timelines.
- Conduct regular checks and reconcile physical stock with inventory records to guarantee accurate product counts.
- Update stock, inventory, and inbound data in the central management system, flagging discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and submit routine operational reports, including production volumes, waste logs, and equipment maintenance notes.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned, serviced, and stored.
- Execute the full cooking process from raw ingredient preparation to plating of ready‑to‑serve menu items.
- Organize and prep all necessary raw materials, sauces, and garnish before each shift begins.
- Perform pre‑operational setup tasks such as equipment checks, temperature logging, and workstation organization.
- Support shift handovers by communicating any issues, pending tasks, or special orders to incoming team members.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations, including proper storage, labeling, and handling of allergens.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age limit: up to 35 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in the food & beverage industry, preferably as a line cook or barista.
- Willingness to be assigned across any ASTRO Hub location in the region.
- Availability to work rotating shift schedules, including early mornings and weekends as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, agility, and a responsible attitude toward tasks.
- Self‑motivated, hardworking, and capable of operating independently while also collaborating effectively with the team.
- Essential skills: cooking proficiency, inventory control, basic computer literacy for stock management systems.
