Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Retail Sales Cashier to join our fast‑growing store network in the retail and food & beverage (F&B) sector. As the first point of contact for our shoppers, you will play a crucial part in delivering a seamless checkout experience while upholding our brand’s reputation for friendly, reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to process cash, debit, credit card, and e‑wallet transactions quickly and accurately.
- Enter all sales data into the cashier system, double‑checking amounts to ensure consistency with customer payments.
- Prepare daily cash reconciliation reports (cash‑in, cash‑out) and hand over the cash drawer to the finance team according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized cash counter, including regular checks of EDC machines, computers, and cash drawers.
- Monitor and replenish ancillary merchandise such as massage oils, bottled drinks, and other impulse‑buy items.
- Provide courteous, professional assistance to customers, answering product queries and guiding them through promotions.
- Address minor customer complaints with a positive attitude, seeking swift and satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with floor staff to ensure smooth store operations, including opening and closing duties.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist in stock‑taking activities as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and company policies, especially those related to cash handling and data protection.
Requirements
- Female candidates aged 18‑25 years.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong numerical aptitude and ability to perform accurate cash calculations.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is an advantage.
- Proficiency with POS hardware and software, basic computer literacy, and familiarity with e‑wallet platforms.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple transactions efficiently.
- Positive attitude toward teamwork, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
