Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Kitchen Operations Specialist to join our dynamic food‑and‑beverage team in Tangerang. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement in service quality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all kitchen staff to guarantee smooth workflow during service hours.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock of raw materials.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO 22000).
- Train new hires on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best culinary practices.
- Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance evaluations for kitchen personnel.
- Analyze kitchen performance metrics, such as waste percentages and preparation times, and propose efficiency‑boosting initiatives.
- Collaborate with the menu development team to test new dishes, assess feasibility, and adjust recipes for cost‑effectiveness.
- Handle customer feedback related to food quality, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Maintain and troubleshoot kitchen equipment, ensuring all tools are in safe, working condition.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Tangerang or surrounding areas.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a commercial kitchen or F&B operation.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, slicers, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Honesty, agility, discipline, strong communication, teamwork, and a genuine passion for the F&B sector.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
