Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, process cash, credit, and digital payments, and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product inquiries, and provide recommendations that align with their needs.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, keep the cash drawer balanced, and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in inventory control by scanning items, updating stock levels, and notifying supervisors of low‑stock situations.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to restock shelves, arrange displays, and keep the store tidy and inviting.
- Handle customer complaints or returns with patience, empathy, and adherence to company policies.
- Participate in daily opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and preparing shift reports.
- Continuously stay informed about promotions, new product lines, and seasonal sales to effectively communicate offers to shoppers.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- Education: At least a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Prior experience: Not required, but any previous retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Key skills: Proficiency with cash register systems, basic math, and strong communication abilities.
- Personal attributes: Friendly, honest, serious about work, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Availability: Willing to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
