Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Petugas Kebersihan Kantor to join our team at SMK Harapan Cerah, a reputable secondary school dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and inspiring learning environment for students and staff. This full‑time position involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all school facilities, ensuring that every classroom, office, and common area is welcoming and well‑kept. Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of main rooms, including the principal’s office, teacher’s lounge, classrooms, library, restrooms, mushola, and multipurpose hall.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust surfaces, windowsills, and furniture to maintain a dust‑free environment.
- Collect and dispose of waste according to the school’s recycling and waste‑segregation policies.
- Maintain and water indoor and outdoor plants, ensuring they remain healthy and aesthetically pleasing.
- Inspect and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in all restroom facilities.
- Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, plumbing leaks) to the facilities manager promptly.
- Assist with special events by preparing venues, setting up chairs, and ensuring post‑event clean‑up.
- Implement routine deep‑cleaning schedules, including carpet shampooing, floor polishing, and window washing on a monthly basis.
- Follow health and safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities and inventory of cleaning supplies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Key skills: Plant care, restroom sanitation, basic cleaning‑management techniques.
- Soft skills: Reliability, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, good communication, and a positive attitude.
- Physical ability to lift moderate loads, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive cleaning motions.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 07:00 – 16:00.
