Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Koordinator Lapangan Ekspedisi to join our logistics team in Sanggau, West Kalimantan. This role serves as the critical link between our central operations hub and the network of couriers who deliver packages across a diverse and often challenging terrain. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in ensuring that parcels move swiftly, safely, and in full compliance with regulatory standards, including direct coordination with BPOM (Indonesia’s Food and Drug Authority).
Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified couriers to meet the dynamic demand of each operational area.
- Provide continuous coaching, performance feedback, and motivational support to active couriers, fostering a culture of reliability and professionalism.
- Monitor the end‑to‑end distribution flow, ensuring that all shipments are tracked accurately and that cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions are reconciled without discrepancy.
- Lead investigations into fraud incidents, including loss, damage, or manipulation of COD funds, and implement corrective actions to mitigate future risk.
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with courier partners, addressing their concerns and aligning their activities with company standards.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly reports that highlight operational findings, performance metrics, and actionable recommendations for senior management.
- Coordinate directly with BPOM to guarantee that all shipping activities comply with national health and safety regulations, especially when handling pharmaceutical or regulated goods.
- Analyze route efficiency and suggest optimization strategies that reduce delivery times and operational costs.
- Conduct regular field audits to verify that couriers adhere to safety protocols, vehicle maintenance standards, and customer service guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency situations, ensuring rapid response and effective communication across all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in courier management, field coordination, or a related logistics role.
- Male candidates only (as per current operational policy).
- Strong administrative abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven recruitment skills, capable of attracting and selecting high‑performing couriers.
- Strategic leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate teams and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with couriers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Problem‑solving mindset, especially in handling fraud investigations and operational challenges.
- Flexibility to work from 09:00 to 18:00 and adapt to field‑work schedules as required.
