Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier – Customer Service & Transaction Specialist to join our vibrant retail team in Kota Batu and surrounding areas. Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash, credit, and electronic transactions using the store’s POS system.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product inquiries, and resolve minor concerns on the spot.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring all equipment (scanners, cash drawers, receipt printers) is functional.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, preparing accurate deposit slips and reporting any discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and price tag updates as needed.
- Collaborate with sales associates and supervisors to manage peak‑hour traffic and minimize wait times.
- Adhere to company policies on loss prevention, data privacy, and cash handling procedures.
- Provide feedback on customer trends and suggest improvements to enhance the shopping experience.
- Stay informed about current promotions, loyalty programs, and new product launches to upsell effectively.
- Handle occasional returns and exchanges, ensuring compliance with return policies and proper documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 20 years or older.
- Residency: Must reside in Kota Batu or nearby neighborhoods.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – friendly, approachable, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong sense of integrity and trustworthiness; cash handling experience is a plus.
- Disciplined work ethic with punctuality and reliability.
