Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Medical Sales Representative to join our team covering the Muara Enim region and surrounding areas in South Sumatra. This role focuses on the bidan (midwife) channel, promoting high‑quality medical products and ensuring that healthcare professionals have the knowledge and support they need to improve patient outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with a dynamic sales and marketing team, reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine visits to midwives and related healthcare facilities, delivering detailed product presentations and hands‑on demonstrations.
- Check product availability at each client site, assist with order placement, and follow up to guarantee timely delivery.
- Monitor and accelerate accounts receivable, ensuring that invoicing and payment cycles meet the agreed‑upon terms.
- Develop and maintain a professional, trust‑based relationship with all midwives within the assigned territory.
- Achieve defined sales KPIs, including:
- Sales volume and value targets.
- Outlet transaction coverage.
- Prompt collection of customer receivables.
- Create and update a Master Customer List (MCL) and a Fixed Journey Plan to guarantee 100% coverage of all accounts.
- Implement trade and marketing programs, ensuring equitable distribution and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports that highlight performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the medical affairs team to gather market intelligence and relay feedback from healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any discipline). A background in science or health‑related fields is a strong advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience as a medical or health‑product sales representative.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with HCPs (doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and data‑analysis skills.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and self‑motivation.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle, appropriate registration documents, and a SIM C license.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the following locations:
- Palembang
- Muara Enim
- Musi Banyuasin
- Musi Rawas
- Lubuk Linggau
