Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Eksekutif Logistik Freight (Sea/Air) to join our growing logistics team. This role is pivotal in managing both export and import operations, ensuring seamless coordination of maritime and air cargo movements while complying with all national and international regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical knowledge, strong communication abilities, and a proactive attitude to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily export and import activities, monitoring progress, generating accurate reports, and conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain close communication with customers, providing timely updates on work order status, shipment milestones, and any issues that arise.
- Resolve technical problems encountered in the field, including the coordination of trucking operations for efficient loading and unloading of cargo.
- Manage cross‑trade and U.S. trade lane operations, leveraging knowledge of international trade agreements and customs procedures to optimize transit times and costs.
- Prepare and review customs documentation such as PIB, PEB, and BC‑23 reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and inland transportation partners to guarantee end‑to‑end visibility of cargo movement.
- Conduct ad‑hoc duties as needed, including data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and participation in cross‑functional project teams.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior logistics staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in any field; preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage.
- Professional certification such as PPJK (Customs Brokerage) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of export and import regulations, including mastery of PIB/PEB modules and BC‑23 reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage for dealing with Asian trade partners.
- Key soft skills: coordination, negotiation, customer service, and relationship management.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 09:00‑18:00, with flexibility to handle time‑critical shipments.
