Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused individuals to join our growing team as Staff Pelayanan Makanan – Waiter / Waitress at Pempek Ny Kamto. This is an entry‑level hospitality position that offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced restaurant environment serving traditional Indonesian cuisine. Candidates will work across all of our outlets, ensuring guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed explanations of our signature dishes, especially various styles of pempek.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and communicate any special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, ensuring correct plating, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Monitor table conditions, promptly refill beverages, clear used dishes, and maintain a clean dining area throughout service.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and tableware according to the outlet’s layout.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate smooth service flow and resolve any issues quickly.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints with professionalism, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including regular hand washing, proper food handling, and maintaining a smoke‑free environment.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, promotional offers, and service techniques.
- Support inventory control by reporting low stock items and assisting in daily stock checks when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; non‑smokers preferred.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to be placed at any Pempek Ny Kamto outlet across the region.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and maintain discipline in a team setting.
- Basic cooking awareness is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude during the shift (07:00 – 15:00).
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
