Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Field Collections Staff (Staf Penagihan Lapangan) to join our growing team in Banyuwangi. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely repayment of installment loans by directly engaging with customers in the field. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance and operations departments, applying strong communication and negotiation skills to recover overdue payments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily collection activities by contacting customers with overdue installments using phone calls, WhatsApp, and in‑person visits.
- Visit customer addresses on schedule to verify payment status, answer queries, and provide payment instructions.
- Negotiate repayment plans that align with company policy, ensuring mutually agreeable solutions while preserving customer relationships.
- Document each interaction in the company’s CRM system, updating payment status, notes, and any agreed‑upon arrangements.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly collection reports for management review.
- Adhere strictly to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ethical collection standards, avoiding any form of harassment or undue pressure.
- Monitor and analyze collection trends within the assigned geographic area to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the credit control team to flag high‑risk accounts and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring all required documents, identification, and a valid driver’s license are on hand for field work.
- Participate in regular training sessions on compliance, negotiation techniques, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 20‑35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as stipulated by the client’s operational requirements).
- Work experience: 0‑1 year of field collection or related experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Valid motor vehicle and an active SIM C (motorcycle license) are mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site in Banyuwangi, with a flexible schedule to meet collection targets.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve daily/weekly targets.
- Familiarity with the local geography and ability to navigate the assigned territory efficiently.
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices, messaging apps, and data entry tools.
