Introduction
The University of Hospitality Excellence is seeking a dedicated and passionate Dosen Program Manajemen Perhotelan to join our academic faculty. This full‑time lecturer will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of hospitality leaders by delivering high‑quality instruction, guiding research initiatives, and contributing to the university’s community service mission. Candidates must possess strong culinary and hospitality management backgrounds, demonstrate a commitment to the Tri Dharma of higher education, and be ready to engage with students in a dynamic, hands‑on learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, and Tourism Management, ensuring alignment with current industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive lecture materials, case studies, practical labs, and assessment tools that foster critical thinking and real‑world problem solving.
- Mentor and supervise student projects, internships, and research theses, providing constructive feedback and career guidance.
- Participate actively in curriculum review committees to keep programs relevant and innovative.
- Engage in scholarly research, publish findings in reputable journals, and present at national or international conferences.
- Collaborate with industry partners to organize workshops, field trips, and guest‑speaker sessions that enrich the learning experience.
- Fulfill the Tri Dharma of higher education: teaching, research, and community service, including outreach programs that promote hospitality tourism in the region.
- Maintain academic records, grade submissions, and adhere to the university’s academic policies and schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Participate in faculty meetings, accreditation activities, and continuous professional development initiatives.
Requirements
- Male candidates preferred; gender specification complies with institutional policy.
- Maximum age of 40 years at the time of appointment.
- Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) is mandatory.
- Master’s degree (S2) in one of the following fields:
- Magister Pendidikan (Tata Boga)
- Manajemen Perhotelan (Hospitality Management)
- Manajemen Pariwisata (Tourism Management)
- Applicants must not yet hold a National Lecturer Identification Number (NIDN) – the position offers an opportunity to obtain it.
- Willingness to commit to a permanent lecturing position and to perform the Tri Dharma duties.
- Freedom from contractual obligations with other institutions or government agencies.
- Strong pedagogical skills, including the ability to develop engaging curricula and assess student performance effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Indonesian; English language skills are a plus for international collaboration.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in the hospitality sector.
