Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, attending local events, and leveraging community networks to promote Amartha’s loan programs.
- Provide comprehensive economic counseling to household members, guiding them through budgeting, financial planning, and the benefits of formal financing.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and perform feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies, risk‑assessment procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each prospect, including income verification, collateral assessment, and repayment capacity.
- Manage the collection process by following up with existing borrowers, sending reminders, and coordinating payment schedules while maintaining a respectful and supportive relationship.
- Collaborate with the regional operations team to share market insights, track performance metrics, and suggest improvements to outreach strategies.
- Maintain a personal vehicle log and ensure timely attendance at all scheduled field visits, adhering to safety and company protocols.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, negotiation techniques, and digital tools used for data collection.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
- All genders are welcome; female candidates are especially encouraged.
- Possession of a personal motor vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, meticulousness, strong communication skills, resilience, and discipline.
- Willingness to work in the field daily, often in remote or underserved neighborhoods.
- Experience is not mandatory; however, prior exposure to sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
- Basic digital literacy for using mobile applications, data entry, and reporting tools.
