Introduction

The Remedial Officer (Collection) is a key member of our credit recovery team, based in the vibrant city of Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. This role focuses on managing overdue accounts receivable (A/R) to ensure timely collection and maintain healthy cash flow for the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, internal finance departments, and senior management to achieve collection targets while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Working hours are Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00, and the position offers a stable, full‑time schedule. Candidates must be male, aged 29 – 30, and either a fresh graduate or an individual with at least one year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue invoices, ensuring all actions are taken within stipulated timelines.
  • Conduct outbound calls, send reminder letters, and negotiate repayment plans with delinquent borrowers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the company’s CRM system and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the credit underwriting and risk assessment teams to understand the credit profile of each debtor.
  • Identify high‑risk accounts early and propose proactive strategies to mitigate potential losses.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel when escalation to litigation or formal recovery actions is required.
  • Monitor and analyze collection metrics, such as days past due (DPD), recovery rate, and promise‑to‑pay compliance, and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior collection staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ethical collection practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including consumer protection laws and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (or S1) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services (experience is a strong plus).
  • Age limit: maximum 29 years at the time of application.
  • Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
  • High level of integrity, resilience, attention to detail, and honesty.
  • Proficiency in credit monitoring, loan processing, and debt recovery techniques.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to team objectives and deadlines.
  • Willingness to be placed in the candidate’s domicile area (Cilacap or surrounding regions).
