Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Salesman – Consumer OTC Products to join our growing distribution team. This role focuses on expanding market share for over‑the‑counter (OTC) health and wellness products across a designated territory. The ideal candidate will combine strong interpersonal skills with a disciplined approach to sales planning, ensuring that our products are consistently available, well‑promoted, and positioned for maximum growth.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets within the defined geographic area.
  • Conduct regular outlet visits according to a structured call plan, building rapport with pharmacists, store managers, and other key decision‑makers.
  • Process orders through B2B platforms, corporate websites, and email channels, with particular focus on Modern Trade accounts.
  • Manage invoicing, collect payments, and verify that all sales proceeds are deposited in accordance with company procedures.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily sales reports, including visit summaries, order status, and stock level observations.
  • Present the full portfolio of OTC products, tailoring recommendations to each outlet’s consumer profile to boost basket size and repeat purchases.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, distributors, and internal principals to foster loyalty and long‑term partnership.
  • Monitor inventory levels at each outlet, proactively addressing potential stock‑outs and coordinating replenishment with the logistics team.
  • Identify and develop new accounts while nurturing existing ones to expand market penetration.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) to analyze sales trends, forecast demand, and create actionable insights for management.
  • Adapt to a mobile work environment, efficiently managing time, routes, and priorities to maximize field coverage.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of sales experience in pharmaceutical distribution, consumer health products, or medical equipment. Fresh graduates with strong motivation are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a pipeline of accounts.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.
    • High level of self‑discipline, resilience, and motivation to work independently.
    • Strong organizational abilities to plan routes, schedule visits, and manage paperwork.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Personal Attributes: Goal‑oriented, persistent, and adaptable to a fast‑paced, mobile work setting.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
