Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer – Marketing to join our expanding team in Padang Sidempuan (Sudirman). This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by promoting our product portfolio to both existing and prospective customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, possess strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a solid understanding of B2C sales processes.

The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00–16:00, with placement based on the candidate’s domicile. You will be equipped with the tools and support needed to succeed, including a competitive salary, performance‑based incentives, and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively offer and present the company’s products to existing clients and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and market research.
  • Secure orders from channel distribution partners, ensuring accurate initial data entry and thorough verification of customer documentation.
  • Prepare and complete credit application packages, collaborating with the finance team to expedite approvals.
  • Monitor the progress of credit applications, providing timely updates to dealers and customers regarding approval status.
  • Communicate critical information such as payment due dates, collection locations, and any additional requirements to ensure smooth transaction cycles.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM system, tracking all customer interactions, sales pipelines, and forecasted revenues.
  • Conduct regular follow‑ups with customers post‑sale to address concerns, reinforce product benefits, and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, sharing market insights, performance metrics, and best practices with the broader sales team.
  • Represent the company at regional trade shows and promotional events to increase brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum D3/D4 in any discipline; graduates from all majors are encouraged to apply.
  • Age: Must be 30 years old or younger.
  • Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s current policy).
  • Experience: At least 1 year of relevant sales experience; fresh graduates with strong internship exposure are also welcome.
  • Core Skills:
    • Proven B2C sales management and target‑driven mindset.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Negotiation proficiency and the ability to close deals effectively.
    • High integrity, persistence, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty.
    • Strong organizational skills for handling documentation and credit applications.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid SIM A/C.
    • Willingness to travel within the designated territory and adapt to the local market dynamics.
    • Ability to work independently while also contributing to team objectives.
