Introduction

As a freelance staff member, you will play a critical part in ensuring that goods are safely handled, efficiently packed, and dispatched to customers across our network of warehouses in Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, and Purwokerto.
Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks, containers, or pallets, verify quantities against delivery documents, and safely store items in designated warehouse zones.
- Pick, pack, and label orders according to company SOPs, ensuring each package matches the order specifications and is ready for carrier pickup.
- Conduct quality checks on packed items to confirm product integrity, correct labeling, and proper sealing before dispatch.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using Medicom’s warehouse management system (WMS) and report any discrepancies promptly.
- Adhere strictly to occupational safety and health guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow, suggest process improvements, and participate in periodic stock audits.
- Assist with ancillary warehouse tasks such as palletizing, cleaning work areas, and organizing storage racks when demand fluctuates.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that parcels are dispatched on time and to the correct destination, helping to maintain Medicom’s reputation for reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution setting.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Demonstrated attention to detail—accurate picking, precise packing, and thorough documentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; must be able to follow SOPs and convey any issues to supervisors promptly.
- Male candidates (as per current operational requirements).
- Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends, with shifts from 08:00 – 17:00.
- Proficiency with basic warehouse tools and familiarity with barcode scanners or mobile WMS devices is a plus.
