Introduction

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Waiter (Restoran – Layanan Pelanggan Profesional) to join our dynamic front‑of‑house team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences, thrive in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, and possess a strong work ethic. The successful applicant will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, serving guests in a vibrant restaurant located in Demak. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply, provided they meet the educational and age requirements outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions about dishes, ingredients, and specials.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld POS devices or traditional order pads.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes.
  • Serve meals and drinks with attention to presentation, temperature, and guest preferences.
  • Check back with diners to guarantee satisfaction and address any concerns immediately.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash or electronic transactions securely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Upsell additional items such as desserts, specialty coffees, and promotional packages to increase average ticket value.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow wait staff, bartenders, and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Participate in regular briefings, menu tastings, and training sessions to stay updated on new offerings and service protocols.

Requirements

  • Gender: Male or Female (preferably male as indicated, but all qualified applicants are welcome).
  • Age: Maximum 28 years.
  • Education: Minimum SMK/SMA; D3/D4 education is highly valued.
  • Prior experience in food and beverage service is preferred, especially for candidates residing in Demak.
  • Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of varying weight.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
