Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, process cash, credit, and digital payments, and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Welcome customers warmly, assess their needs, and guide them through the product catalog, highlighting key features of furniture items such as material, dimensions, and care instructions.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, including regular reconciliation of cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning incoming stock, updating shelf labels, and reporting discrepancies to the store manager.
- Collaborate with sales floor staff to arrange product displays, restock popular items, and ensure promotional signage is up‑to‑date.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints on the spot, escalating more complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
- Prepare daily sales reports, track key performance indicators such as average transaction value, and contribute ideas for improving sales efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols, including proper handling of high‑value items and safeguarding against shoplifting.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and cash handling best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years or younger; unmarried candidates are preferred.
