Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Officer – Security Operations and Monitoring to join our dynamic security team. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel by continuously monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV feeds, alarm systems, and access control platforms 24/7 to detect and assess potential security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned zones, both on foot and via vehicle, to deter unauthorized activities and verify system integrity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Document all observations, incidents, and actions in detailed reports, ensuring accurate and timely record‑keeping.
- Maintain and test security equipment, including cameras, motion detectors, and communication devices, to guarantee optimal performance.
- Assist in the development and revision of security SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and emergency response plans.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and contractors on proper security protocols and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with facilities management, IT, and HR departments to address vulnerabilities and improve overall safety measures.
- Analyze security data trends to recommend preventive actions and enhancements to the monitoring infrastructure.
- Work flexible schedules, including weekends, to ensure continuous coverage and support the organization’s operational hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in security operations, monitoring, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly during high‑stress situations.
- Honest, reliable, and accountable with a proven track record of responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as a team member and as an independent operator.
- Resilience under pressure; capable of making quick, sound decisions during emergencies.
