Introduction

Kedai Kopi Profesional is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about coffee culture, enjoy creating memorable customer experiences, and thrive in a fast‑paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for crafting high‑quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace, and upholding the brand’s reputation for excellence.

The ideal candidate is a female professional with at least two years of hands‑on barista experience, a solid educational background (minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent), and a genuine love for coffee. You will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, collaborating with both teammates and customers while handling the pressures of peak service times.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte art, and specialty beverages, following standardized recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstations, equipment, and seating areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and POS systems efficiently and safely.
  • Engage customers with friendly, knowledgeable service, offering recommendations and answering questions about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu items.
  • Manage inventory, receive deliveries, and ensure that all coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies are stocked and stored properly.
  • Train new team members on coffee preparation techniques, customer service standards, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor and control waste, implementing cost‑saving measures while maintaining product quality.
  • Handle cash transactions, process orders accurately, and resolve any customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders during busy periods.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new brewing technologies, and emerging coffee flavors to continuously improve the menu.

Requirements

  • Female candidates only (as specified by the employer).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience working as a Barista in a high‑traffic coffee shop or café.
  • High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; additional certifications in coffee brewing are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact courteously with a diverse customer base.
  • Strong sense of honesty, responsibility, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure, especially during peak hours.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and inventory.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
