Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential safety hazards.
- Monitor entrance points, verify identification, and manage visitor logs in accordance with company security protocols.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first‑aid assistance and coordinating with local police or emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain detailed daily activity logs, and communicate findings to senior security management.
- Perform security checks on luggage, equipment, and vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and preventing contraband entry.
- Assist in crowd control during events, festivals, and peak tourism periods, ensuring orderly flow and minimizing risk.
- Collaborate with the hospitality team to enforce resort policies, such as pool safety rules, fire‑prevention measures, and restricted area access.
- Participate in regular training sessions, drills, and certification updates (e.g., GARDA PRATAMA, basic first aid, fire safety).
- Maintain the integrity of security equipment, including CCTV systems, radios, and access‑control devices, reporting any malfunction promptly.
- Provide courteous assistance and information to guests, acting as an ambassador of safety and professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Male candidates only.
- Prior experience in a security role is preferred, though entry‑level candidates with the right attitude are welcome.
- Possession of a GARDA PRATAMA certificate or completion of a recognized security training program is highly desirable.
- Valid BPJS Kesehatan (KIS) health insurance card.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis, including evenings (08:00‑20:00), weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and local community members.
- Excellent observational abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic proficiency in Indonesian; English language skills are a plus for interacting with international visitors.
- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to incidents.
