Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver age‑appropriate English language lessons for children aged 4‑12, aligning with the Magenta Kidz curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress through informal observations, quizzes, and performance‑based activities, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, confidence, and active participation.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum developers, and school administrators to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects and cultural activities.
- Prepare and distribute weekly lesson plans, instructional materials, and learning resources in both digital and print formats.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievements, areas for improvement, and upcoming events.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events such as open houses, performances, and community outreach programs.
- Ensure classroom safety and adherence to Magenta Kidz policies, including timely attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Utilize personal transportation to travel between any of Magenta Kidz’s branches as needed.
- Contribute ideas for new programs, extracurricular clubs, and enrichment activities that enhance the overall learning experience.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy for this specific role).
- Age: Maximum 30 years old.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; a degree in Education, English, or related fields is a plus.
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of teaching or related experience, preferably in early childhood or primary education.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both spoken and written) and the ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, discipline, and a high level of responsibility.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for preparing digital lesson materials and using school management software.
- Transportation: Own a reliable vehicle for commuting between branches when required.
- Availability: Willing to work full‑time (Monday‑Sunday, 08:00‑17:00) and commit to a one‑year contract.
- Additional Skills: Experience with sales administration or customer service is advantageous, as it supports parent‑teacher communication and enrollment processes.
