Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and electronic transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Verify product pricing, apply discounts, and ensure correct tax calculations.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable assistance to shoppers, answering product‑related questions and resolving minor complaints.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout area, including regular cash drawer reconciliation.
- Collaborate with floor staff to monitor inventory levels, report stock shortages, and assist with merchandise replenishment when needed.
- Support end‑of‑day procedures such as generating sales reports, depositing cash, and preparing shift hand‑over documentation.
- Uphold all company policies regarding safety, loss prevention, and hygiene standards.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, promotional campaigns, and customer‑service best practices.
- Demonstrate leadership potential by mentoring junior cashiers and stepping in as a shift supervisor (SPV) during peak periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK equivalent; D3/D4 preferred for advancement opportunities.

- Basic numerical proficiency and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Leadership mindset – the ability to supervise small teams and take initiative when needed.
- Not currently enrolled in an academic program or unable to commit to full‑time work.
- Proficiency with standard cashier systems; familiarity with electronic payment methods is advantageous.
