Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Barista – Penyaji Minuman Kopi Profesional to join our vibrant coffeehouse team. Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, steam wands, and other coffee‑making equipment, ensuring daily cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Demonstrate basic coffee knowledge, including bean origins, roast profiles, and brewing techniques, to educate and engage customers.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and accurate service, taking orders, handling payments, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work station, including regular sanitation of counters, equipment, and dining areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposables, and communicate replenishment needs to the shift supervisor.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures such as cash reconciliation, equipment shutdown, and store security checks.
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth shift transitions, share best practices, and support a cooperative work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with new drink recipes, seasonal offerings, and industry trends.
- Uphold brand standards for presentation, product consistency, and customer interaction at all times.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑28 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm.
- Experience: At least 6 months of professional barista experience preferred; candidates with basic coffee knowledge and espresso machine operation skills are highly regarded.
- Personal qualities: Attractive and well‑groomed appearance, strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Work style: Capable of both independent and team‑based tasks; flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Skills: Proficiency in coffee preparation, cash handling, point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, and basic food safety practices.
