Responsibilities
- Lead the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring that all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) where applicable.
- Coordinate the preparation, filing, and submission of corporate tax returns (SPT Tahunan Badan) and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Oversee the accurate calculation and reporting of Value‑Added Tax (VAT), withholding tax, and other indirect taxes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the Accurate accounting system, ensuring data integrity, proper chart‑of‑accounts setup, and efficient workflow.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets, prevent errors, and improve overall financial processes.
- Mentor and supervise a team of accountants, providing training on tax software, Excel best practices, and emerging accounting standards.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audit cycles, supplying necessary documentation and explanations.
- Produce variance analysis reports, budget vs. actual performance, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Manage the departmental budget, monitor expenses, and recommend cost‑saving initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance.
- Maximum age: 40 years.
- At least 2 years of experience specifically as a Supervisor in Accounting & Tax.
- Proficiency with the Accurate accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
- Possession of Brevet A & B tax certificates.
- In‑depth understanding of Indonesian GAAP (Standar Akuntansi Keuangan) and tax regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities: coaching, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably English.
- Own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid driving license (SIM A & C) for occasional site visits.
