Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Staf Pengadaan Barang dan Jasa to join our dynamic procurement team in Palembang. This role is essential to ensure that the organization obtains high‑quality goods and services at the best possible cost while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of hands‑on procurement experience, a solid educational background in economics, accounting, or logistics, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers to support the company’s sourcing strategy.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Requests for Proposal (RFP) and assess received bids against technical and commercial criteria.
- Conduct thorough cost‑benefit and price analysis, ensuring that all offers are aligned with budgetary constraints and quality standards.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors to secure favorable contracts.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, track order status, and coordinate with logistics to guarantee timely receipt of goods.
- Collaborate closely with finance, inventory, and operational teams to reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support month‑end closing activities.
- Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, quality compliance, and cost variance.
- Prepare regular procurement reports for senior management, highlighting savings achieved, risk factors, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects that aim to improve supply‑chain efficiency, sustainability, and digital transformation.
- Uphold corporate policies, ethical standards, and compliance with local regulations throughout the procurement cycle.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Economics, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a procurement staff or in a similar purchasing role.
- Strong negotiation skills and solid understanding of procurement processes and partner‑business relationships.
- Excellent analytical abilities for evaluating price offers, cost structures, and supplier performance.
- Effective time‑management and teamwork capabilities; able to work independently when required.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate with international vendors.
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or procurement software.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.

- Location: Based in Palembang, with a standard work schedule of Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑18:00.
- Additional preferred skills: budgeting analysis, supplier performance evaluation, contract management, and basic knowledge of accounting principles.
